I have a B.A. in English literature from the University of Virginia, and an M.A. in romance languages and literature from Johns Hopkins University. I was awarded a Rotary Scholarship to study at the University of Pavia (Italy) in 1987.
After moving to France in 1991, I spent three years at ESIT (Ecole Supérieure d’Interprétation et de Traduction, Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris III) and was hired by the translation department of a Big Five accounting firm. Two years later, I moved to a scientific communications agency where I managed all translation and writing projects in English for several years.
Since 2006, I have been a freelance writer, editor and translator (French to English). My clients are primarily French or France-based multinationals and research organizations whose global communications are in English.
I enjoy the challenge of crafting polished, quality content that meets the high standards of my prestigious clients and their discerning target markets.
